Faith and Patience

Hello and hope all is well. I’m sorry about the long delay between the last email and this one. I have had back trouble since the mid 90’s and for about two weeks it’s given me a hard time. I have got to get an MRI today at 1:30 and they will send the report to the surgeon to review. Pray that I will know the Will of God in this. About 7 years ago I had back surgery and it made me worse than before by another surgeon. I appreciate it.
Today let’s look at a Scripture of what God expects of us when it comes to having patience.
Hebrews10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering, (for He is faithful that promised)
Since this Scripture mentions our faith a few times, let’s look at a Scripture of what faith really is.
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
I guess you’ve heard people misquote about faith, things people might say, “my, they must have a lot of faith to own a house like that, or a car like that. We just seen that faith is something that hasn’t been seen, but the evidence of things hoped for. If you are believing God for something and you know it is His Will for that, you keep on believing as long as it takes. read the Bible and Scriptures pertaining to God’s Will about things. It is nothing wrong to have nice things, but God is not someone we name it and claim it, or blab it and grab it and etc.
We should pray for God’s Will in our lives, He knows so much more of what our true needs really are, so let’s try in prayer, not my Will, but your Will be done Lord. I hope you have enjoyed today’s subject, send it to someone that this may help them. God bless, Rev. Phillip Towery
